Summary:
Glazing Renovations replaced deteriorated canopy glass at a BMW dealership, recreating the original white line design. Eight new panels were installed with precision, sealed for durability, and completed safely at height, restoring both appearance and structural integrity.
Introduction
Glazing Renovations was appointed by their clients to carry out a canopy glass replacement at the BMW dealership. The existing units had deteriorated due to delamination, requiring the full removal and replacement of the overhead glazing.
The original canopy featured a white line manifestation design integrated into the glass. The client requested that this design be retained exactly as it was. To achieve this, the team carried out a full redesign of the manifestation artwork before fabrication began.

What we delivered
The project involved a complete site survey to record measurements and capture all technical requirements. Once the revised design was approved, Glazing Renovations installed eight new glass panels, each finished with a full silicone seal within glass-to-glass joints.
Installation was completed at height using a scaffolding tower and specialist lifting equipment (MC026 glass hoist), with full traffic management in place to ensure safe working conditions.
The outcome
The new glazing restored both the appearance and structural integrity of the canopy. The recreated linear glass retailing matched the original and met the client's expectations. All panels were installed with precision and securely sealed, resulting in a high-quality finish.
