Glazing Renovations revitalised Bradford College’s atrium by replacing all skylight glass and glazing bars with modern laminated panels and updated materials. The project was completed on time with minimal disruption, giving the space a fresh, modern look.
Introduction
Bradford College has a large and attractive atrium area that required extensive work to both breathe new life into this well-used area and also replace all glass in the large skylight roof. Glazing Renovations carried out a full site survey and assessment, gathering requirements to replace all glass and associated materials.
Scope of works
Our highly experienced team worked closely with Bradford College to arrange a convenient time to be on site to complete this extensive work with minimal disruption. All cracked or broken Georgian wire glass and glass panels were carefully removed and disposed of. New acid-etched white toughened Laminated Glass panels were delivered to the site and installed by our skilled on-site team. Whilst replacing all the glass, all the glazing bars were replaced with updated white PPC RAL 9010 and matching capping and gaskets.
This work not only gave the atrium and building a new modern look, but it also made excellent use of the latest laminated glass panels, bar materials, and was completed on time and resulting in an up-to-date look for this vast and well-used space.
